Communication Manager for the RENATUR Project

The aim of the RENATUR project was to draw attention to the importance of peri-urban open spaces and their natural heritage in order to preserve it. For this purpose, six model regions in Germany, Hungary, Belgium, Spain, Slovenia, and Poland were selected, which have a great interest in the promotion and protection of the natural heritage of the peri-urban open spaces in planning practice. The RENATUR project ran from August 2019 to July 2023 and the team of CoKnow Consulting had the huge honour to serve as the projects Communication Manager.

Our first task was to develop communication materials for the project, including a brochure in the different project languages, a website, roll-ups and establish social media as main communication channels. We supported the project in conceptualizing and organizing their stakeholder workshops and helped to rescue the project when all events had to change from face-to-face to online events at very short notice during the pandemic.

It was a huge pleasure to accompany and communicate the projects many successes on social media, support the production of project videos and collaborate with the partners to develop their good practices and action plans. We thank all partners and stakeholders for the good collaboration and valuable contributions!
